You’re Invited to a Live Video
Webcast on Electric Vehicles from
Harvard-Westlake Middle School
It’s time to get your students charged up
about the electrification of the automobile!
With the launch of
vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt less than a year away, now is
the time to learn more about the advanced technologies that are
leading us into the future of transportation and what it will
mean to your students and their future.
Weekly Reader and Chevrolet invite you to join us on Monday,
Nov. 30 from 9:40 - 10:30 a.m. PST for a live video webcast by
Maria Rohrer with the Chevrolet Volt team from Harvard-Westlake
Middle School in Los Angeles.
During the webcast, your students will
learn about the basics of electricity, including why it’s
important and how this common energy source can be used to
transform the way we drive. You and your students will also be
able to ask questions following the presentation, and we will
provide a lesson plan to accompany the webcast. This live video webcast will stream to ChevroletVoltage.com and
will also be accessible from WeeklyReader.com. To register to participate in this live webcast, please click on
the link below.

We ask that you please register no later than Sunday, Nov. 29.
Additional details on how to connect, how to submit questions
for the Q&A session, and the lesson plan will be provided once
you register.
It’s the future! It’s really cool! And after the webcast, you can
give a pop quiz!
We hope you will join us. |
