Look. We get it. You're an amazing writer. You've inspired billions of children to become interested in reading. You've given us a literary icon for the ages. But come on, J. K. Rowling, isn't it enough already?

Apparently not.

The Harry Potter author is back and writing. This time, it's a collection of fairy stories called "The Tales of Beetle the Bard." But here's the kicker: only seven copies will be published.

That's right. Seven. Do you know how many copies of the different Harry Potter books were sold? I don't know either, but it was was more than seven. Like seven plus multiple millions. So it's likely that you won't get to read it.

One copy of the work is going to be auctioned off, and the others are going to be given as gifts.

Now that's just greedy.

J. K. Rowling, if you insist on writing instead of relaxing (I envision her diving into her millions of dollars ala Scrooge McDuck), at least have the decency to share your work with the rest of us. Now you're just showing off! Not that I'm bitter or anything.

Is anyone out there interested in reading the new work from Rowling? And what would you pay to get your hands on "The Tales of Beetle the Bard"?

First of all, J.K. has purchased enormous amounts of PLASTIC surgery. Who knows why. With all that money, who cares what she looks like. We liked her for her stories, not her looks. She doesn't even look like herself at ALL!

I loved Harry Potter, but I think she milked the cow dry looooong ago. Not to mention the series is VERY much like THE BOOK OF MAGIC by Neil Gaiman. A Little BOY with glasses who seeks out magical secrets? Hmmmm.

I agree with realistic observer-there are similarities between JK Rowling's books and other books (fantasy, of course) But they're still good. BUT ONLY 7 COPIES!??? Now that's just being plain MEAN! humph! Does anyone know her address??? I wanna write a letter of complaint! I don't know how much I would pay for the new books-cuz I wouldn't pay, I don't have much cash! My mom would pay. But will the books be any good? Or will they resemble other fantasy books written by other authors? Will JK Rowling steal someone else's fame? Is she hogging the limelight? I bet there are other REALLY GOOD authors out there that like nobody knows about (have you ever read the Artemis Fowl series-they are AWESOME) because everyone's SO OBSESSED with JK. I think she's only publishing 7, and selling one, so that she 'll make a ridiculusly HUGE amount of money on the one that's sold. Just watch--someone will be paying like 1 million, 2 thousand,6 hundred and 25 bucks. :P
hmmmm....

What is wrong with some of you? It is WELL documented that the sale of the book is going to CHARITY, not JK.

You're silly attacks on JK are very clearly based on jealousy.
