One Lonely Snowman- Poem by Emily Deason, Grade 8
One lonely snowmanstanding alone on a peakhas he been there one day?or maybe a whole week
One lonely snowmanwith no one else aroundis he able to talkor can he make no sound
One lonely snowmandid he just come to be?does it make him sad whenhe looks down and sees no feet
One lonely snowmanI ask, are you cold?does your scarf keep you warmuntil you are very old
One lonely snowmantaking in the dayhopefully he'll enjoy ituntil he slowly melts away
