Welcome!

Dear Educators,

Do you feel like your students often struggle with the difference between “right” and “wrong”?  In our October issue, we look at a handful of scenarios that test one’s ethics. The article features the opinions of both Randy Cohen, The Ethicist for The New York Times magazine, and middle school students from Georgia. What they have to say is both interesting and enlightening. Check it out!

October is also the perfect month to get spooky! I hope your students enjoy taking our phobia quiz, as well as learning a little bit more about why we’re all afraid of something.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Magid

Editor

Be sure to check out the October exercises for Current Health’s teen fitness program, Get Up and Go!

Encourage your students to become Current Health Teen Testers! We’re always looking for teens who would like to be in one of our upcoming You Said It! features. Your students can e-mail us at currenthealth@weeklyreader.com if they would like to be on our panel of reviewers.

Don’t let your students forget: they can ask us any health question at any time for You Asked, our Q&A section. Send questions to currenthealth@weeklyreader.com or write to us at:
