The Youth Vote

 

Have students research the top candidates running for president—their personal histories, where they stand on the major issues, their leadership skills, etc. Have each student prepare a short presentation that is designed to persuade the rest of the class to vote for his or her favorite candidate. The presentation could be a video, a commercial, a campaign speech, a song, or even a simple conversation that is designed to persuade.
