WELCOME! to Current Health 2's Web extension for February 2007.
Not everyone will grow up to be a famous writer or a world-class artist, but we can all benefit from tapping into our natural sources of creativity. That's the message of "Who's Creative?" This article aims to prove to your students that the various myths they've heard about genius and creativity are just that--myths. Help your students learn to trust their imagination, and you'll all be impressed by the results.
One often-overlooked creative endeavor is cooking. With a little practice and a few brainstorming sessions, anyone can create some scrumptious, good-for-you food. So invite your students to enter their original recipes for healthy lunches in our second annual Recipalooza contest. Here's where their creativity pays off--we'll put the winning recipes up on our Web site, and award their creators with a cash prize. To enter, click here for an entry form. But hurry, the deadline is March 15. We can't wait to taste your students' creations!
Sincerely,
Meredith Matthews
