To be eligible for the drawing to win a free subscription to Current Science, we must receive your completed evaluation form no later than May 20, 2008. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

You must include your name, school name if applicable, school or home address, and telephone number, all clearly readable, to be entered in the random drawing.

Neither Weekly Reader Publishing nor Reader’s Digest is responsible for lost, stolen, or mutilated evaluation forms or for those that may be misdirected or delayed in the mail. Multiple entries are not permitted. Entries that are photocopied are eligible, but entries that are mechanically reproduced, tampered with, or incomplete, are not eligible.

Five prizes will be awarded. No prize is redeemable by the winner for cash value, nor is a prize transferable. No substitution of a prize by a winner will be allowed, but Weekly Reader Publishing reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All entries and requests become the property of Weekly Reader Publishing and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prizewinners will be selected at random from all entries on or about May 30, 2008. The drawing will take place under the supervision of Weekly Reader Publishing. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, whose decisions are final.

Each of the prizewinning teachers will receive 30 complimentary subscriptions to Current Science for the 2008-2009 school year and will be notified by mail by May 31, 2008. The approximate total value of the complimentary subscriptions is $1,675. Only the winners whose names are drawn will be contacted. For the names of the winners, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Current Science, Weekly Reader Publishing, 1 Reader’s Digest Road, Pleasantville, N.Y. 10570.

The odds of winning the complimentary subscriptions depend on the number of entries received. We distribute 18,000 Teacher’s Guides for each issue of Current Science. Therefore, the maximum number of entries possible in this pool of names is 18,000.

The winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and compliance with the rules. Any winner who is related to any employee of Weekly Reader Publishing, Reader’s Digest, or any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, or promotional suppliers or who is related to any employee’s family or household members is not eligible to enter or win.

The prize must be claimed by June 30, 2008. Return of notification of prize as undeliverable or failure to execute and return any requested document within 14 days of the claim date may result in forfeiture of prize. An alternate winner will be selected. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. Void where prohibited by law.
