All entries must be sent via fax or postmarked by September 14, 2007 when the sweepstakes ends. All entries must be received by September 29, 2007.
Limit one (1) entry per teacher.
2. Selection of Winners/Validations: Winners will be selected at random on or about October 1, 2007 from all valid entries received by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all aspects of the Sweepstakes. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of the judging organization. Each potential winner will be notified by mail and may be required to sign, notarize and return within 10 days of delivery to his/her address an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Prize and/or Publicity Release unless prohibited by law. Failure to sign and return these forms within the time requested may result in forfeiture of prize and the selection of an alternate winner. Sweepstakes materials void if incomplete, not legible or if they contain errors. No responsibility is assumed for lost, stolen, late, or misdirected mail or entries. Participation: Sweepstakes begins April 14, 2007; ends September 14, 2007 and is open only to K-4th Grade Teachers in the U.S. who are legal residents of the 50 United States plus Washington, D.C., 21 years of age or older. Employees and their immediate families and households of Sponsor, Weekly Reader, their subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and anyone involved in this Sweepstakes' production, development or handling are not eligible. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner's names and likeness for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited. By entering, each participant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Weekly Reader, their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies from all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries and expenses arising out of a participant's participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, use and/or misuse of prize. Prizes and Odds: The following prizes will be awarded: One (1) Grand Prize: A $2,000 school supply grant, a one-year classroom subscription to Weekly Reader and a one-year supply of KLEENEX® Brand Anti-Viral* Facial Tissue (approx. retail value $2,310.); One (1) First Prize: A $1,500 school supply grant, a one-year classroom subscription to Weekly Reader and a one-year supply of KLEENEX® Brand Anti-Viral* Facial Tissue (approx. retail value $1,810.); One (1) Second Prize: A $1,000 school supply grant, a one-year classroom subscription to Weekly Reader and a one-year supply of KLEENEX® Brand Anti-Viral* Facial Tissue (approx. retail value $1,310.); 100 Runners-Up Prizes: A one-year classroom subscription to Weekly Reader (approx. retail value $150.), OR A set of eight World Almanac for Kids, 2008 edition (approx. retail value $100.). School Supply Grants will be made in the name of winning teacher, c/o teacher's school. Each winner must comply with his/her school's policy regarding acceptance of prize. A Weekly Reader yearly classroom subscription comprises up to 35 student copies for one grade level and will be fulfilled during the 2008-2009 school year. No substitution or transfer of prizes except with Sponsor's permission or where required by law. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Limit one prize per teacher.
